Amy's father, Mitch, has confirmed that "Amy's recent visit to the hospital is not because she has a cold", but rather has a little (Mitch points to his chest) leaky something or other."
A friend of Amy’s confirmed: “She saw something oozing out on to her top. She was worried as they looked wonky and to see stuff seeping out was horrible.”
The 26-year-old singer was taken to London’s University College Hospital on Monday evening. Her spokesman Chris Goodman said she had suffered a reaction to prescribed medication.
A source added: “Amy took over-the-counter stuff for a cold but it didn't agree with medication she takes for her ongoing recovery.”
